Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Shehbaz Sharif voiced concerns over National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser not issuing production orders for four lawmakers, Express News reported.

Speaking in the post-budget session in the National Assembly, Bilawal said that it was concerning that four lawmakers including former president Asif Ali Zardari, PML-N leader Saad Rafique, MNA Ali Wazir and MNA Mohsin Dawar had not been issued production orders.

"The speaker has to be approached every day," lamented Bilawal.

Taking the floor, Leader of the Opposition Shehbaz Sharif reiterated that production orders for the MNAs should be issued so that they could represent their constituencies in the house.

Ahead of the budget session on Wednesday, the opposition parties agreed on a joint strategy to prevent the government from passing the budget for the new fiscal year in its present form and formed a committee of opposition lawmakers for this purpose.

PPP Chairman Bilawal met PML-N's Shehbaz in the opposition chamber at the National Assembly on Tuesday. He was accompanied by PPP leaders Khursheed Shah, Sherry Rehman, Naveed Qamar, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Shazia Marri and Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar.
