Pindi to be cleaned with sweeping machines

Roads, footpaths, parking areas would also be cleaned during the action

RAWALPINDI:  

Ahead of the monsoon season, the Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) has prepared a plan to clean markets in Rawalpindi city through mechanical sweeping method.

The roads, footpaths and parking areas would also be cleaned during the action.

During a meeting of the RWMC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mian Behzad Adil, with a delegation comprising President of Anjuman Tajiran-e-Punjab, Malik Shahid Ghafoor Paracha,  Small Chamber of Commerce CEO , Nadeem Sheikh and  Anjuman-e- Tajiran Raja Bazaar General Secretary , Abrar Sheikh, the CEO assured them that cleanliness was their top-notch priority. He requested the traders’ community to not litter the roads and stressed to place garbage in waste bags or nearby waste containers.
