Bike thieves arrested in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a four-member gang of motorcycle thieves and recovered nine stolen bikes from them.

According to a statement, Banni police arrested Faraz Iqbal, Muhammad Bilal, Tanveer Ahmed and Yousaf on charges of stealing motorbikes. Police also recovered nine stolen two-wheelers from the suspects. Separate cases have been registered against all of them and investigation has started.

Meanwhile, City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Faisla Rana awarded commendation certificates to the personnel of Dolphin force who nabbed three people on Adiala Road and recovered weapons from them.
