Suspect starts aerial firing after shopkeeper asks him to pay

RAWALPINDI: A suspect started aerial firing outside a shopping mart after he was asked to pay the bill. Shop Manager Junaid Mazhar told the Murree police that a suspect, apparently around 25-year-old walked in to the mart and placed a pistol on the cash counter.

The suspect, acting like a character from a gangster film, took out a bottle of juice from refrigerator and drank it. Junaid said he handed the suspect a bill receipt of Rs50 on which he got angry.

However, the man put a Rs50 note on the counter and left only to come back later more angry and enraged. The security guard did not allow the suspect to enter the shopping mart, on which to the side of mart’s warehouse and started aerial firing while hurling threats at the shop’s staff.

Police have registered a case against the suspect.
