Police foil bid to bury the child and lodge a case against the accused

LAHORE: A man allegedly tortured his son to death and injured the other in Green Town area. Police foiled his bid to bury the child and lodged a case against the accused. Police said Parvaiz had two sons from his first wife. On the day of the incident, he took his sons to his second wife’s place. The mother of the children accused that her husband tortured nine-year-old Daud to death and injured seven-year-old Yashwa. The family members also revealed that Parvaiz was insisting to bury the child but fled from the scene after they informed the police. Police said a case has been registered on the statement of victims’ uncle Sadiq Masih. Raids were being conducted to arrest the accused soon. The body was shifted to the morgue. The body bore several torture marks.
