Death Anniversary: Poet and scholar to be remembered

KHAIRPUR: The late Prof. Dr Atta Mohammad Hami’s 29th death anniversary will be commemorated in Soho Qanasiro village on July 3. Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah will attend the event and lay a wreath at the mazaar. Hami’s book ‘The role of Talpurs in literature, politics and culture’, which he wrote as the PhD thesis, was one of the most important research works to be produced on the subject, according to minister Sassui Palijo, who announced Rs200,000 for the Hami Yadgar Committee in 2009.
