Turbat and Sukkur to experience the highest temperatures

Weather in most parts of the country is expected to remain hot and dry with temperatures expected to go as high as 48°C in some parts of the country, Express News reported on Saturday.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD),  highest temperatures will be experienced in Turbat and Sukkur ranging from 46-48°C whereas windstorm followed by rain and lightning is expected in Malakand, Hazara division, Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B), Kashmir and other areas.



However, in Karachi, the heatwave is expected to persist with temperatures rising up to 38°C. According to PMD, the humidity will remain high while western and southwestern winds are expected to blow during daytime.

Temperature in Skardu is expected to be 25-27 °C, in Muzaffarabad 35-37 °C, in Quetta 34-36°C, in Peshawar 39-41°C, in Lahore 42-44°C while 37-39°C temperature is expected in Islamabad.
