If there is one Bollywood star that is often prodded about marriage it is Salman Khan.  But, the actor made his thoughts on taking the plunge very clear in an interview recently.

It could be fair to say that the actor of upcoming film Bharat is also the most eligible bachelor in Bollywood. Time and again, Salman has been questioned about when will he get married. While many of us would certainly like to know, Salman actually thinks marriage is a "dying institution" and doesn't believe in it, reported Times of India.

When Salman was questioned about his belief in marriage and his take on the speculations about the same, the star was candid enough in his reply.

I want kids, it's their mother I don't want: Salman Khan

The Tere Naam actor explained he doesn’t have faith in the institution of marriage and it’s more or less fading away from society with passing time. On the other hand, he did mention that instead of marriage, he has faith in companionship.

“I don’t believe in marriage. I think it’s a dying institution. I don’t believe in it at all. Companionship? Yes,” he said.

Well, with that Salman surely concluded the debate over his marriage plans. However, does this means children are out of the picture? Apparently not, as he was quoted saying, "When it has to happen, it will happen."

Salman has been busy with Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, but not without controversies such as a recent reported dig at Priyanka Chopra for ditching the female lead role last minute due to her marriage with Nick Jonas.

Aside from this, Salman has been busy with the promotions of the film along with his now co-star Katrina Kaif.
