Abuse : Man found in police ‘torture’ cell

SUKKUR: A man was found in the private torture cell at the Khairpur police station when it was searched on the orders of the Sindh High Court, Sukkur bench. The cell was searched at the request of the missing man’s wife, Amna. She said Shehzad had been arrested from home and taken to the station and was not heard of after. The judicial magistrate was sent as the raid commissioner and was ordered to search the station. Shehzad was found and was taken to court where he said that he had been tortured. The court ordered that he be taken to hospital and a medical report be submitted in three days.
