Collission: Woman crushed, 11 injured

Four of the victims are currently in critical condition and being housed in the ICU unit of the hospital.

KHANPUR: A senior citizen was crushed and eleven others received serious injuries in two different road accidents near Khanpur on Monday night.  An unidentified woman from Dandanoat village was crossing the Tarinda bypass when a speeding car hit her.

The woman died on the spot. According to police officials, in another accident, a Sadiqabad bound van heading from Alipur overturned after a tyre burst near Khanpur. Eleven passengers, including five women, sustained serious injuries in the accident. The injured were shifted to the local medical health centre.
According to hospital officials four of the victims are currently in critical condition and being housed in the ICU unit of the hospital. Police officials have registered a case and are searching for the drivers in both cases.
