LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shehbaz Sharif is expected to return to Pakistan on June 11, Express News reported on Tuesday.

The opposition leader's counsel Atta Tarrar informed the court regarding the opposition leader's return date.

Shehbaz set for ‘quick visit’ to London to meet grandchildren

The accountability court bench headed by Justice Jawadul Hassan heard the case and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor appealed to the court to issue warrants for Shehbaz in the Ashiyana Iqbal Housing scam and Ramzan Sugar Mills case upon his return.

During the hearing, the NAB authorities further argued that Shehbaz was using ill-health as grounds for exemption from appearing in court.

The anti-graft body's prosecutor further claimed that Shehbaz went abroad without obtaining prior approval from the court.

On April 10, Shehbaz left for London after he was granted bail and his name was removed from the Exit Control List (ECL) on the pretext of treatment. According to sources, a multiple-entry visa for England was issued to him and his wife. He also obtained visas for his mother and four of his staff members.
