LAHORE: Sajal Aly has been getting much praise for her portrayal of Chammi in Aangan. The doe-eyed star's stellar performance in the star-studded period drama has given her career yet another boost and she will next be seen in Umera Arshad's Alif, opposite Hamza Ali Abbasi and Kubra Khan.

But from the looks of it, seems like it will be quite a while before Sajal comes back to the silver screen.

"Youngsters are now venturing into film-making. These fresh minds have left our neighbouring country and several others astounded with the kind of films they have been producing. Hence, in my opinion, the future of Pakistan film industry is very bright," she said.

Sajal, who made her Pakistani film debut with Feroze Khan-starrer Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai, believes that local writers, producers, artists, techniques and directors will become the center of global attention in the next few years.
