ISLAMABAD:
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan demanded on Sunday that Shehbaz Sharif return to the country along with former finance minister Ishaq Dar so that the truth and lies could be differentiated and revealed.

In a tweet on social media platform Twitter, she claimed Shehbaz Sharif was not in the country and a search was on to find him.

Those who had fled were now teaching others to lie, she alleged.

Both the PML-N leaders are in London. An accountability court had declared Dar an absconder in a corruption reference after the former finance minister repeatedly failed to join the trial, remaining instead in London where he has reportedly been undergoing medical treatment.

The court also ordered Dar to submit surety bonds within three days, adding that in case of failure, the authorities would seize his assets.
