AJK elections: PML-N accuses PPP of rigging

Sharif said the AJK elections were bound to be rigged under the PPP government.

LAHORE: The PML-N challenged the recent elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, claiming they were rigged by PPP.

PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif chaired a party meeting in Lahore to contemplate on the Kashmir elections.

PML-N accused PPP of rigging the electoral lists and distributing fake ID cards to undermine the electoral process in AJK.

During the session Sharif said the AJK elections were bound to be rigged under the PPP government.

He also added that he challenged the fake electoral rolls in the court and is now just waiting for the verdict.

The party claims almost 70 per cent of the rolls were bogus.

The PML-N chief said additional sessions will be held in the coming days for the party to decide its future course of action.

Zion | 12 years ago | Reply This is funny - if they win (even by rigging) it is fine, but when they lose and even if it was fair - it is not fine, and gets even more prophetic when they know before hand about the rigging (almost to the level of sainthood) - these politicians are so good in telling the future that they should all have stalls on street corners with their parrots...
