Fans think Mahira Khan, Fahad Mustafa would make the perfect on-screen couple

Someone sign these two for a movie already!

Entertainment Desk May 25, 2019

Mahira Khan recently made an appearance on Fahad Mustafa's game show, Jeeto Pakistan.

The Raees star reportedly had a great time and the duo's chemistry caught everyone's attention. This prompted fans to request Mahira and Fahad to star in a project together.

Taking to Twitter, famed music journalist Fifi Haroon wrote, "Make a movie together already you two! Why any director hasn't seen what a brill pairing this will be is beyond me."

"Lots of love to you! And yes, you’ve been saying that for a while. InshaAllah soon," Mahira responded.

Another journalist then offered to start a petition.

"Happy to start a petition for someone to cast Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa together in a film, as suggested by Fifi Haroon. Great chemistry between these two!" tweeted Aamna Isani.

To this, the Verna actor quipped, "Hahaha I have opened my twitter to some craziness and you might have been the enabler."

Fahad soon chimed in and asked whether Mahira was onboard for a project yet.

And, Mahira said yes!

This, however, isn't the first time the duo has been asked to work together. Mahira previously shared she would love to work with the Actor-in-Law star.

“I have never worked with Fahad Mustafa,” Mahira told BBC Urdu. “I really wanted to work with him but there just wasn’t any time. I can’t even begin to tell you the amount of projects the two of us have been offered together but the timing has never been right.”

She added, “But there’s mutual respect. I respect him and I like him a lot as an actor. I like that he supports people and it’s really imperative to me that a person should support others and our industry for that matter.”
