Girl commits suicide over blackmail

TANDO GHULAM ALI: A teenage girl allegedly committed suicide over social media blackmailing in Tando Ghulam Ali Town on Monday. Blackmailed and threatened over phone, Aneela, an intermediate student, allegedly committed suicide by consuming a poisonous substance in Meghwar Mohalla. The heirs said that the accused used edited pictures of the girl to threaten and blackmail her. Her engagement also broke off due to this.  The body was shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs. The police have started a probe into the incident after getting a suicide letter mentioning the names of the blackmailers.
