PESHAWAR: Schoolchildren were made aware of traffic rules during a one-day seminar organised by Urban Policy and Planning Unit, Planning and Development Department in collaboration with Peshawar Traffic Police and Water & Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP).

The function took place in the Government Higher Secondary School No 1 Peshawar City for students between 15 to 20 years of age.

The aim of the seminar was sensitising youth on basic urban issues including traffic rules and sanitation related.

Students would also be practically involved in several activities like chart designing, delivering speeches, and skits on identified themes.

Speaking on the occasion Executive Director UPPU Inayatullah Wasim hoped that the students present today would raise awareness in their respective communities regarding what they learned here.
