CM Kamal, PM Imran, discuss development in Balochistan

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Friday and discussed with him matters pertaining to development projects of Balochistan.

According to a statement issued here, the overall situation of the province also came under discussion in the meeting. The meeting comes as the province was pummelled by another spell of rain, which caused heavy damage in parts of the province.

In another statement, Chief Minister Kamal expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives during severe rains in the province and directed the officials concerned to provide every possible assistance to the affected families. He also instructed authorities to constantly monitor the situation in the rain-affected areas.

Kamal also expressed satisfaction over successful operation conducted by security forces in the Kaboo area of Mastung. He lauded security forces for exhibiting professionalism and skill during the operation.

“The entire nation and the security forces are on the same page for the elimination of terrorism,” the chief minister said. He announced the award of appreciation certificates to the law-enforcement personnel who took part in the operation.
