K-P CM wants to strengthen private schools’ regulator

PESHAWAR: Representatives of Parents Association on Wednesday called on Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan and apprised him about schools' fee related issues.

On this occasion, the CM assured the parents association that court's decision regarding schools' fee would be implemented in letter and spirit. He said that directives have been issued to the MD Private Schools' Regulatory Authority in this connection. Adviser to Chief Minister Ziaullah Bangash was also present during the meeting.

CM has instructed necessary amendments in the law to strengthen Private Schools Regulatory Authority (PSRA). He was presiding over the meeting in the CM’s Secretariat Peshawar. Besides Adviser Bangash, PSRA Managing Director, Parents Association and other relevant officials attended the meeting.
