Actor Shahid Kapoor was recently clicked at Mumbai airport. A video of him getting out of his car and walking inside the premises was shared by a photograper on his Instagram account.

However, what has really irked netizens is the fact that he did not shut the car door while leaving, reported Pinkvilla. The clip received over 50,000 views in less than two hours.

One Instagram user commented, "Arrogant! Fame is momentary! Shutting the door of your car is basic manners and courtesy. The higher your ego, the harder you will fall." Another added, “No basic manners to even shut the car gate… it’s instinctive. Horrible manners! Is he imparting the same values to his kids? I find him detestable.”

Some of Shahid’s fans, however, ran to his rescue.

“The guy lives in India and it’s normal if you’re rich people do things for you,” penned one follower. “I think he was getting conscious being surrounded by paparazzi… not arrogant!” they added. “There is nothing arrogant about this... trolls need to get a life,” said another one of Shahid’s devotees.

On the work front, Shahid is currently gearing up for the release of Kabir Singh, a remake of the critically acclaimed Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey.

"They say you shouldn't touch something that is so good. If someone tells me to play characters of some of my previous films then, I might not be able to do it again but honestly the same film-maker (Sandeep) wanted to make it and I find the role very exciting," Shahid said.
