Sportswear giant Nike is working on updating the Nike Fit app with augmented reality (AR) features which would let users scan their feet measurements and help in finding the right-sized shoes.

Smartphones usage surpasses television viewership yet again

Buying shoes online has never been easy. The sizes differ depending on the brand and where you might wear size 10 in one brand, you may wear size 9 in another.

With this feature though, Nike says that it can measure each foot individually, from size, shape to its volume.  With accuracy within 2 millimetres, it will then further suggest specific shoes that will be of the same size.

Facebook paid teens to track smartphone use

Nike will roll out the update with the feature in July across the US and then eventually in August for  Europe.
