It's the dream team we've all been waiting for.  Superstar singers Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran sent fans into a frenzy by confirming their musical collaboration, set to be released this week.

Bieber sure knew how to keep the excitement alive by teasing fans on Twitter to check his Instagram stories and sharing a short clip of the track.

Thinking Out Loud swooner Ed Sheeran also played along, posting funny images comparing the duo's physiques on Instagram.

"Just two hunky men releasing a song on Friday," Sheeren wrote on the post, in humour.

The song will be called I Don't Care, marking their second collaboration since Bieber's single Love Yourself which was co-written by Sheeran and made an appearance on the hugely-successful album Purpose, back in 2015.

The two artists also posted what appear to be lyrics from their new song, with the two photos having to be matched up to read them properly.

“Cause I don’t care/When I’m with my baby yeah/All the bad things disappear,” the lyrics read.

The track release comes after Bieber announced via social media in March, that he will be taking a hiatus from music to concentrate on his personal life. The What Do You Mean hit maker married his 22-year old sweetheart Hailey Baldwin in a private ceremony in September, 2018.

Before wedding the model, Bieber was dating Disney celebrity Selena Gomez on-and-off for years.

It seems like the Baby star is back on track though, recently posting a picture describing the role of God in his life. "Don’t stop fighting the battle has already won.. fight for what you love and who you love don’t let fear and anxiety win..God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power love and of a sound mind!," he wrote via Instagram.
