PMD predicts a 'mostly hot' Ramazan

ISLAMABAD : The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the heatwave will continue during the first four or five days of Ramazan.

Temperatures are predicted to fall after the first week and may offer some respite to those fasting in the country.

PMD Director Zaheeruddin Babar said people must take precautions so that they are not at the risk of suffering from heatstroke during the holy month.

"The weather is expected to get better by the second week of Ramazan with some northern areas also predicted to receive rain," he said.

Weather experts predict a mostly hot Ramazan with intermittent drops in temperature and rain through the month.
