Pakistani-Canadian YouTubers Shaam and his wife Queen Froggy were reportedly attacked on Sunday evening, during a meet and greet session at Ocean Mall, Karachi.

A video that went viral shows Idrees being shoved and pushed around by a mob right outside the mall premises. It was reported that Queen Froggy was also physically assaulted but that cannot be seen in the video.

The couple also called it an 'organised attack' and took to social media to share further details.

"I'm sorry to all the fans, especially the kids who were pushed around and got hurt at the meet and greet. An individual attacked my wife and this is heartbreaking," he wrote on Twitter. "Hurting women and children is what we've come down to? We will explain everything in detail shortly."

"I'm sorry to all my fans who were not able to take photos, who were pushed, who were hurt and who were abused. I have never seen anything like this. Child and woman abuse needs to stop," Froggy shared on Instagram.

Later, in a video, Froggy shared the incident in detail.

She also added few clips from the attack, where people were heard chanting Ducky's name.

"I have no choice but to come out in public and share what happened. Because I'm broken, I'm torn, I'm shocked and I'm hurt. Not just emotionally but physically," she remarked in a seven minute video. " I didn't expect Saad or his fellow YouTubers to spread such hate on social media to a point where people want to go out in public and hurt a woman. This time it wasn't about attacking Shaam. This time I was punched in the face by a Ducky fan and I'm asking for your help. Screaming someone's name, being their fan is a norm. But going out of your way to hurt someone's wife, daughter, sister are only something those who don't respect their own moms and sisters do."

Rumour has it that the mob was instigated by rival YouTuber Ducky Bhai. Ducky however, was quick to deny any involvement and condemn the attack.

"Just heard about the assault on Froggy at Sham's meet & greet today. This type of disgusting behavior should never be tolerated at any cost, especially on a woman," he wrote. "Fans should enjoy the occasion by staying in their limits. This is not what I or any other YouTuber would encourage to do."

And many came forward to condemn it.

"To be honest I don't like Sham Idrees and Froggy and their entire team because they still doing the same things that they already done in past but at this point I am supporting him because abuse is not acceptable in any condition," a user wrote.

"Though I hate Shaam Idrees because of his content and recent social media drama, but beating him and his wife is so disgusting. He came to Pakistan to meet his fans but such kind of violence isn't acceptable," shared another.

"If you don’t like someone, don’t go to see them and don’t discuss them. What people are doing to Shaam Idrees is unbelievable and total jahalat (savagery)," penned one user.

"It doesn't matter if you like Shaam Idrees or not but anyone who went to physically or verbally abuse him or supporting it, is technically the worst," a user tweeted. "Nobody should under the guise of having fun be abusive. Don't show your ridiculous face to the world by being that low."

"I'm a hater of Sham Idrees but now I'm feeling bad for him. He is not terrorist or a corrupt person. He is just a below average content creator. You hate him for messing with your favourite Ducky Bhai who is not a farishta (angel). But Sham and his wife does not deserves to be humiliated," said another.
