5 looks of the week we can't get enough of

From ethereal desi looks for the summer to chic casual-smart suits, here are some looks that stunned.

The past few days witnessed some hot trends come out of both, Pakistan and around the world.

With numerous events taking place in Hollywood (think Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’s surprise Vegas wedding and her even more shocking bridal outfit) and local celebrities donning desi ensembles, there are ample looks to pin on your inspiration board.

Celebrities have been ruling social media in refreshing kurtas, block printed dupattas, holiday outfits and structured jumpsuits. Here are some of our favourite fashionistas of the week.

1. The breezy summer looks

Pakistani starlets Hania Aamir and Sanam Saeed simply stunned in airy traditional ensembles throughout the week.

The Janaan actor Hania Aamir looked magical in a dainty detailed blush pink and white outfit by Gul Ahmed.  She paired the long kurta with a gorgeous block printed dupatta and did justice to the outfit with a simple bun and minimal, flushed makeup. But the real deal of her look were the pretty floral khussas which added the perfect pop of colour.

Similarly, singer-model Sanam rocked loose curls and a crimson dupatta which is sure to turn heads. Styling it up with loose gold bangles is just the right amount of luxury for the perfect Eid look.

2.  The pretty pastels

Television actor Komal Aziz shared a picture on Instagram with co-star Sanam Jung on the set of their new drama. The duo paired a plain white co-ord set with exquisite chiffon dupattas in pastel shades.

The Alvida starlet sported a pale lemon scarf to accent her crisp outfit, while Ishq-e-Benaam’s Komal glowed in lilac to beat the heat.

3.  The office-outfit look

Looking for a new work wardrobe?  Look no further than American-Palestinian supermodel Gigi Hadid, who aced the look while attending the VIP launch party for Carine Roitfeld Parfums’ new scent ‘7 Lovers’.

Embracing a more relaxed, androgynous style of late, Gigi commanded attention in a taupe suit, without looking like she’s trying too hard. She dressed the attire down in a simple white T-shirt and accessorised with a pendant gold necklace set, which is trending this season. Gigi kept her tumbling blonde locks flowing in natural curls and her makeup fresh.

4. The comfy jumpsuit

Sophie shocked social media after marrying Joe in a secret Las Vegas wedding.

Instead of a traditional white bridal gown, she opted for a silky jumpsuit from Ukrainian label Bevza. Turner’s outfit is from the brand’s fall 2019 collection which debuted at New York Fashion Week in February. The actor accessorised her look with a pair of gold lamé heels from Loeffler Randall.

The newly-wedded star also wore another jumpsuit during the week at the Billboard Music Award show. Looking oh-so-chic in the gorgeous metallic silver outfit accented with bright floral embroidery, the look seemed almost like an ode to Sophie's powerful character Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones.

5. The laid-back holiday look

Dubai-based fashion and lifestyle blogger Nisa Tiwana trumped the vacay look in an all-white outfit paired with a printed scarf and straw-woven bag. Keeping it simple in a T-shirt and wide-legged jeans, Nisa jazzed it up with pointed crimson kitten heels, which are all the rage this summer.

The fashionista also wore another ensemble this week on Instagram in light-washed mom jeans, a structured black blouse and cute heels - a great casual outfit change from day to night.
