BAHAWALPUR: The Punjab Home Department has written letters to all resident police officers (RPOs), district police officers (DPOs) and capital police officers (CPOs) warning of a car that may be used as a bomb in a terrorist attack. The silver Mehran, 2004 model bearing the number plate LHE-133 has allegedly been prepared to launch a suicide attack and intelligence authorities have issued repeated warnings to all police officials in this regard. According to a press release, Tehreek Taliban qari Imran Group has made claims about launching a string of terrorist attack in Lahore within the month of June and July.
