“I have always loved Ranbir as an actor. He’s just so fabulous on screen! He’s powerful, yet so honest and complete. I’m feeling that even while we work together. He really inspires me to be a better version of myself at work as his work ethic is commendable and I’m still learning from him,” Hindustan Times quoted Bhatt as saying.

“I’ll continue learning from him,” she added. “I’m actually very glad that the first time he and I are coming together is for a film like Brahmastra. It was a very big moment for me when Ayan offered me this part. I wasn’t who I am today then but he still trusted in me. It was a big deal for me and from that day to now, I have always looked forward to being on his set every day.”

Bhatt and Kapoor confirmed their relationship last year. The latter admitted to it in an interview with GQ magazine last May while the Highway starlet confirmed it during her appearance on Koffee with Karan back in October.

“Ranbir makes me feel different. He gives me a different high. Yes, it’s true that I was always a little wary of baring my private life out there but with him, there’s a deep sense of comfort,” she had said. “He’s an amazing soul and there’s so much that I get to learn from him every day, not just as an artiste but also as a human being. I would just say that I’m in a happy space both professionally and personally.”

Brahmastra was expected to release in December this year but was recently postponed to a summer 2020. Bhatt has several other films in her kitty though, such as Karan Johar’s Takht, SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah and her father Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2.

Talking about juggling all of these projects, she said: “I can definitely do other films in between, but the fact that I’m getting to collaborate on such a big vision makes me happy and excited. I know, for a fact, that it will probably make a huge global impact if it’s appreciated. Brahmastra is a vision of some other kind but it’s rooted in the Indian sentiment.”
