Woman killed over ‘honour’ in Raiwand City

LAHORE: A 25-year-old woman was killed over ‘honour’ by her family and husband in Raiwind City. The victim was identified as Wafa Tayyaba. Reportedly, she was strangled to death by her husband, father, mother and brother. After committing the murder, the accused buried the body in a graveyard. The case came to the police’s attention after they received an anonymous tip on the helpline. Police have registered a case against the suspects and are investigating the incident.
