RAWALPINDI: Residents of Mughlabad and adjacent areas are facing acute clean drinking water shortage as both filtration plants in the area have been closed due to maintenance since last many months.

The locality is a thickly populated area but no arrangements has been made by the Rawalpindi Cantoment Board (RCB) to provide clean drinking water.

A resident Fida Khan told speaking to the media that we don't have much time to bring water from filtration plants operating in remote localities.

A complainant Aziz Malik said repeated complaints have been lodged but no action has been taken so far to provide this basic need.
