RAWALPINDI: Government schools are being equipped with advanced education facilities, said Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Saturday.
He said the government was taking a number of steps for raising the quality of education and upgrading schools.
Addressing a meeting, he said that government schools were being equipped with advanced education facilities.
He said that the goal of national development could not be achieved without imparting education to the new generation.
He emphasized the teachers to utilise their professional capabilities for proper education and characterization of the students.
It is also imperative that the parents should give priority to education of their children as it was the only life-support that helps the students to excel in life, he added.
Meanwhile, Emergency Officer of Rescue 1122 Shahid Majid Qamar on Saturday said that there was a plan of 1122 to start a campaign to educate citizen regarding the traffic rules aimed at to minimise the road accidents.
He said drivers were not observing the traffic rules on roads due to which fatal accidents occur.
