He stated this while talking to a German delegation, led by Honorary Consul of Pakistan in Bavaria region of Germany Dr Pentis C Poetis, which visited the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) on Saturday.
The PBIT inked three framework cooperation agreements with the German delegation aimed at promoting potential investment opportunities and making joint efforts for greater efficiency.

Highlighting the investment-friendly environment in Punjab, the provincial minister spoke about various sectors and availability of potential investment avenues in the province. PBIT CEO Jahanzeb Burana gave an overview of Punjab economy and outlined the investment opportunities in the province including affordable housing units and technology start-ups.
He assured the delegation of complete facilitation in communications, collaboration and coordination for the expansion of German investment and commercial engagements in Punjab.
Munich Airport CEO Dr Michel Kerkloh emphasised the need for portraying Pakistan as a land of opportunities in a bid to change the perception of European countries and the rest of the world.
Speaking on the occasion, Messe Munich CEO Dittrich called the infrastructure of Punjab as the best in the region. “The state-of-the-art buildings are an example of profound competency,” he pointed out.
The honorary consul was of the view that it was the right time to invest in Pakistan as the government was in a “go-getting mode”.
The PBIT assured the delegation of complete facilitation in exploring lucrative business opportunities in Punjab and also in the expansion of German investment and commercial engagements in the province.
