Two martyred by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir

Individuals were killed during ‘cordon and search’ operation in the Bijbehara area of Islamabad district

Indian troops martyred two Kashmiri youth in the Islamabad district of occupied Kashmir, Radio Pakistan reported on Thursday.

The individuals were killed during a ‘cordon and search’ operation in the Bijbehara area of the district.

Police of the occupied valley claimed that the youth were militants and had been killed in an encounter with troops. An official added that the "bodies had been recovered from the site of clash".

Following the incident, occupying troops suspended internet services across the district.

On April 12, a 12-year-old boy was martyred as Indian forces continued their state-sanctioned brutality in the Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK).

In February, a deadly suicide attack in IoK’s Pulwama district killed at least 44 Indian paramilitary soldiers. The suicide bombing took place when a car rammed a bus carrying troops belonging to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
