LANDI KOTAL: People of various religions came together in Jamrud to mourn the Sri Lanka Easter mass killing.

Pakistan Minorities Alliance (PMA) Landi Kotal has observed a minute silence and vigil march for showing solidarity with 500 dead and injured innocents of Sri Lankan militants attacks.

Special service was held at the Church of Jamrud. Members of Christian community attended the service, besides Muslims, Hindu and Sikhs and notable people of Jamrud and Khyber tribal district were present at the service as a mark of solidarity and interfaith harmony.

Special prayers were offered at the service while community has shown solidarity with Sri Lanka brothers and sisters and condemned the act of militancy.

“We want other communities in the country to show sympathies with victims of Sri Lanka blasts,” said Khyber Christian Community Chairman Arshid Masih.

PTI members from Peshawar Ameen Inyat, Razzaq Masih, Zulfiqar Masih, and others also take part in the service.
