In this regard, the federal government has introduced a Task Management System (TMS) for effective monitoring of the prime minister’s directives and orders. All provincial governments, federal ministries and divisions will have to make real-time updates on the TMS.
In this regard the PM’s secretary Azam Khan has sent a letter to all federal secretaries, additional secretaries and those in charge of the ministries and divisions as well as all chief secretaries.
According to the letter, the PM has expressed serious concern about delays in submission of compliance reports by various ministries, divisions and provincial governments.
He has directed all ministries, divisions, heads of the state institutions and provincial chief secretaries to regularly and instantly update the TMS in addition to timely submission of the compliance reports.
The measure would allow the prime minister to know the exact status of implementation on his directives and orders. All ministries and divisions are told to update details on the TMS till March 27.
The letter says the PM will personally monitor the TMS and check updates on status of his directives. The system will also allow periodical monitoring of performance of various ministries, divisions and institutions. Authorities are advised to actively update details regarding implementation of the orders.
