Homeless: Man, disabled children kicked out of their house

Four landlords entered the home of a local labourer and turned his disabled family out of their property.

Local landlords encroached on the property of a disabled family in Khanewal.


According to police officials, the incident happened on Thursday afternoon when four landlords entered the home of a local labourer and turned his disabled family out of their property.

Khanewal Moza Allah Hu Abdul Hakeem village landlord Allah Data and Allah Bukhsh wanted to buy the land of 80-year-old Muhammad Amir. Amir said that the land was his ancestral property and he refused to hand over the property for several years. “They have been threatening me for years. Four of my sons are disabled,” he told police.

Amir said that his son Altaf filed a complaint with local police after the accused broke into his home on Thursday and turned him out of his house. “They destroyed my furniture and set the roof of my house on fire,” he said. Police officials have registered a case.
