ATC indicts 16 TLP workers
The court adjourns the hearing till June 10
KARACHI:
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) indicted 16 workers of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) in a case of siege, arson and attack on police. TLP workers appeared before the court. The accused pleaded not guilty upon which the court summoned them at the next hearing. The court has declared six accused absconders in the case. The absconders include Syed Shabbirul Haq, Abrar Naqshbandi, Shafi Attari and Muhammad Nizamuddin, among others. The court adjourned hearing till June 10. According to police, the accused engaged in violence and vandalism at MA Jinnah Road and Numaish Chowrangi. A case against the suspects was registered on November 24 at Brigade Police Station.
