Yousufzai assures Bajaur elders of more development funds

KHAR: The state acknowledges the sacrifices of the tribal people for establishing peace and in return the laws of Pakistan have been extended to the seven tribal districts to bring them at par with the rest of the country, said Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Shaukat Ali Yousafzai said on Tuesday.

While talking to the elders and notables of Bajaur tribal district headquarters Khar, he said: “We have been elected to serve the people and work for your betterment and ensure sustainable development in the tribal areas.”

Information minister said that government would provide basic facilities to the every individual educational health and infrastructure facilities to locals, while natural resources would also be utilized local’s betterment.

Special allocations will be made for the tribal areas would be brought to the development level of the settled districts, provincial minister stated.

Yousafzai has also inaugurated higher secondary school in Gardai and tube-well in Zoor bandar Khar while the Minister participated in oath taking ceremony of Bajour press club as chief guest.

The elders of the tribal have also presented cultural cap to minister.

Earlier, the provincial information minister visited Shumal Radio and PTV Booster and met with its staff.

He said national channel was promoting culture, traditions besides creating awareness. He also met with MNA Gul Zafar Khan and assured resolution of problems confronted by Bajaur people on priority basis.
