Is Sarri planning to leave before being fired by Chelsea?
Italian manager's future with the Blues looks bleak after disappointing performance post-Conte
English Premier League club Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri may be filing his resignation rather than facing the axe as Roma have been reported to show interest in the Italian, reports Corriere dello Sport.
The Italian club were initially interested in former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte but their heads have probably turned towards Sarri.
But The Giallorossi director Franco Baldini sees Sarri as an ideal appointment since the latter is already under pressure at Stamford Bridge.
Reportedly, Baldini has also held talks with the former Napoli boss and with the Premier League season nearing end, the move may not be far.
