Chelsea are eyeing 'new Ibrahimovic'

English Premier League club have sent out a scout to monitor teenager's performance

English Premier League club Chelsea are following Borussia Dortmund striker Alexander Isak, who has been touted as the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The teenager is enjoying a superb spell at Dutch Eredivisie side Willem II, scoring 11 goals in as many games since arriving in January.

The 19-year-old did not get many first-team chances since signing from Stockholm club AIK.

The Mirror reports that Chelsea sent out a scout to watch Isak in action against Ajax this weekend.

Chelsea have suffered in the recent past with striking option after Alvaro Morata, Gonzalo Higuain and Olivier Giroud were unable to replicate Diego Costa's success at the front.

However, they may face an uphill task if they plan to sign the Swedish youngster since Spanish giants Real Madrid are also monitoring his progress.
