President Body Guard win memorial polo cup in Rawalpindi

Beat CLS by seven goals to three point five in final

President Body Guard team won the 115th MP Bhandara Memorial Murree Brewery Polo Cup in Rawalpindi after beating CLS team by seven goals to three point five, according to a press release.

Chief Executive Murree Brewery Company Isphanyar Bhandara said on the occasion that "sports help in developing the mental and physical abilities of the youth".

He added that the players are "assets of the nation and play an important role in promoting sports for the formation of a healthy society. This builds their character along with improving patience and courage in their personalities, because self-confidence in a person can play an important role in the country’s development".

The guests of honours that attended the event were Senator Sitara Ayaz and the ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Poland, Egypt, Sweden, and Bulgaria. A total of seven teams participated in the tournament.
