Accused gets death sentence for murder
Gets additional 17 years for robbery and attempted robbery with a fine of Rs1.1 million

The court also sentenced the accused for 10 years on the charge of using dangerous weapons for robbery and an additional seven years for a robbery attempt along with a fine of Rs1.1 million. According to police, Sameer robbed a scrap dealer’s shop in Korangi Industrial area in 2010. Sameer opened fire after robbery, as a result Aijaz was killed while his brother Sajjad was injured. Sajjad was an eyewitness of the incident.
