Curbing Kidnappings: Provinces told to set up task forces

The federal government had given a monitoring policy in this regard.

ISLAMABAD: The provincial governments have been directed to set up a special task force to curb the incidence of kidnapping for ransom, Interior Minister Rehman Malik told the National Assembly on Wednesday. In response to a call-attention notice, he said that although it was a provincial matter, the federal government had given a monitoring policy in this regard.
