Two brothers among three die of suffocation in Duki; minors drown in Sibi

Three people including two brothers died of suffocation in Balochistan’s district Duki on Wednesday, while two children drowned in a pond in Sibi in a separate incident the same day.
According to details provided by Levies personnel, four members of a family were cleaning a water-well at their home in the Pash-Morh area, when toxic gases reportedly accumulated there. It resulted in the deaths of three people due to suffocation, while a fourth family member fell unconscious.
The Levies and rescuers shifted the victims to a nearby hospital, where the deceased were identified as Abdul Khaliq, Abdul Razzaq and Khan Muhammad.

The bodies were handed over to heirs after completion of medico-legal formalities.
Children drown
Two children drowned in a pond in an area of Sibi Town on Wednesday.
According to locals, eight-year-olds Manzoor and Zakir fell into the pond while they were playing nearby. Efforts by locals to rescue the two boys failed, as they were dead by the time their bodies were retrieved.
They were shifted to a local hospital, where the bodies were handed over to the bereaved families after the completion of medico-legal formalities.
Medical Camp
More than 300 patients including children and women were provided treatment during a day-long free medical camp in Dera Bugti. The camp was organised by Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan Bambore Rifles on the directions of Inspector General FC (IGFC) Maj Gen Fayaz Hussain Shah.
Doctors including specialist examined the patients and provided free of cost medicines and supplies including food items, basic medical tests and minor surgical facilities during the camp.
