6th International Diabetes Conference begins next week
Conference will be held in Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore

The Diabetic Association of Pakistan (DAP) and Sanofi Pakistan have collaborated to bring diabetes experts from globally recognised centres of academic excellence to address the 6th International Diabetes Conference which will be held in Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore next week.
According to the National Diabetes Survey of Pakistan, the prevalence of diabetes in Pakistan is over 26%.
The survey identified the need for a cost-effective diabetes prevention programme in Pakistan and called for national strategies to ensure early diagnosis and effective management of the disease.
