The plea filed by Advocate Muzammil Mumtaz maintained that Abu Tahir had been begging for money on the streets of Saudi Arabia for two years and sent the money back home to his wife. On his return to Pakistan, he found that his wife had gone missing along with his children, Rs1 million and gold. The case was filed against two accused on disappearance of his wife. The judicial magistrate made fun of Abu Tahir and said that he wasn’t blind but merely fooling the court. The petition requested the SHC to transfer his case to another court.
