LAHORE: The Punjab Lectures and Professor Association (PPLA) continued its protest for their demands for the third consecutive day in front of Punjab Assembly. The protestors had made it clear that they would not leave until their demands were met. On the other hand, no government dignitary paid them a visit for negotiations so far. Protestors demanded that there be implementation of service and pay protection in addition to lifting the one-and-a-half-year ban on promoting and introducing a five-layered formula on the pattern of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) province. On the third day, they chanted slogans and made speeches stressing their demands and highlighting their issues. The demonstration caused hampered traffic in the city; the blockade affected traffic flow on Mall Road and other roads adjacent to it such as Cooper Road, Ferozpur Road and Queens Road.
