ISLAMABAD: Colourful traditional Bangladesh dances and cuisines uplifted the 48th National Day celebrations of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh High Commissioner Tarik Ahsan hosted a reception to mark the event in the federal capital the other day. A large number of diplomats and members of the civil society attended the event.

Senior Foreign Affairs Ministry Officer Imtiaz Ahmed was the chief guest. He shared the stage with Senator Mushahid Hussain, Lt Gen Sadiq Ali and ambassadors of South Asian Association of Regional Countries (SAARC) member countries.
