QUETTA: Balochistan would get a huge share in the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) in the next fiscal year, announced Federal Minister for Planning and Development Makhdum Khusro Bakhtyar.

Speaking at a press conference along with Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan on Monday, the minister disclosed that Prime Minister Imran Khan would shortly visit Balochistan to make a big announcement for the province.

“Political leadership of the previous government is responsible for underdevelopment in Balochistan,” Bakhtyar said, emphasising that development of the province was the top priority of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

“In fact, Balochistan’s development is connected to Pakistan’s development,” he stressed,

The minister lamented that the previous leadership included 300 unapproved schemes in the PSDP.
