Mine blast injures father, daughter

MIRANSHAH: A landmine blast in North Waziristan tribal district on Sunday seriously injured a man and his daughter.

According to an official statement, a resident of the tribal district, Gul Khan was going along with his minor daughter Salma when they stepped on a mine near Noora Manza check post in Ahmedkhel village of Boya tehsil early in the morning.

Security forces rushed both the injured to Miranshah Hospital.

Meanwhile in separate incident South Waziristan district administration recovered another bullet riddled body near the Khawri Narai area of Wana tehsil. The district authorities identified the deceased as Azmat Ullah of S-Waziristan tribal district.

The family of deceased Azmat Ullah said they have any no enmity in the district.  After legal formalities, the body was handed over to the heirs of the deceased who took it to their village for burial.
