ISLAMABAD: The private educational institutions in the country are helping in sharing the burden of the government in the development of this sector.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on CDA Ali Nawaz Awan has said this during an address delivered at the annual prize distribution ceremony of Career School and Girls College at Rawalpindi Arts Council.

Awan admitted that that around 90% of parents enroll their children in private schools as they (private schools) assessed the performance of every student individually. The government will not turn its back from supporting these institutions, he added. The position holders were awarded special stipends and it was announced that the students attaining first position were to be given a 85% discount in their monthly school fees from next educational year.
